SLUMBER PARTY

PLAY & STAY

Our Style of Dog Boarding is designed to provide your pet with a totally “enriched” boarding experience, which we accomplish by giving pets the things they need most: behavioral choices, exercise, socialization, and the absence of stress.

Dogs prefer outdoor play yards and socialization with other dogs and people, over long periods of solitary confinement.

Our experienced staff of trained dog handlers segregates the dogs according to size and temperament, and monitors each pack so that all dogs are in a stress-free environment. The dogs are rotated through indoor and outdoor environments during the day, and they sleep in large executive suites with large beds, tv’s, and comforts of home or in junior suites. You can share their experience by checking in on any of our 11 webcams. We also offer private play times, swim times, massages, birthday parties, and a full line of fun activities!

BOARDING FAQs

What are the requirements for my dog to board? Due to insurance restrictions, WE CAN NOT ACCEPT PITBULLS OR ANY MIXED BULLY BREEDS.

All boarding dogs must have previously attended their first day of daycare and passed their temperament test. Also, any dog that has not attended daycare within the past year will be asked to attend a day of daycare to be reevaluated before making a boarding reservation this is free of charge. A discussion on future boarding options will be had with the parent of any dog displaying anxious, destructive or stressful behavior while boarding.

What are the check in and check out times for boarding?

We do not have a check in time for boarding. We do however recommend checking your pup in early on the day of arrival. This gives them ample time to hang with friends and settle in and get comfortable before bedtime. We do ask that you do not check-in any later than 2 hours before the facility closes. We also ask that you feed your pup dinner if you check in after 4pm. As for the day of departure, any checkout after 1pm will incur a ½ night of boarding fee. Daycare passes cannot be applied towards the late checkout fee.

Will my dog get to play when boarding?

They sure will! Our boarding is all inclusive, so all of our guests get ample play time when they stay with us.

What will my dog’s schedule be when boarding?

First thing, in the morning before the facility opens, the staff let the boarding guests out for their first potty break before breakfast. After about 15 to 20 minutes outside, everyone comes in to rest before eating breakfast. Breakfast and morning medications are given between 7am and 7:30am. After breakfast, everyone rests for an hour before their big play session. At this point the pups are let out to play for the day. Playtime then goes to about 2pm, when all of our boarding guests return to their suites to rest before dinner. Dinner, along with evening medications, is served at 4pm. After eating, the dogs rest up for another hour or so before they return to daycare for one last romp before bedtime. Everyone comes back in for bed around 6:30pm and its lights out for the night by 7:30pm. Your pup’s weekend schedule will be very similar, however modified to fit the scheduled hours.

What should I bring when my dog is boarding?

There is not much that you need to pack for your pup when they stay overnight with us. More than anything we recommend bringing your dog’s food so that we are not switching up their diet. However, if needed we do serve Fromm Adult Gold for an additional fee. You may pack your dog’s food however you prefer, whether that be individually bagged or in a container. We just ask that the food can remain closed and sealed until served. You are welcome to bring a bed/blanket, and a toy or two. You do not need to bring bowls, as we have plenty in stock. However, if your dog has a special bowl that they use (like a Slow Feeder), you are more than welcome to bring that. Please do not bring anything breakable like glass or ceramic. The most helpful advice that we can give is to label your dog’s items with a first name and last initial.

My dog is a finicky eater. Will you be able to get them to eat?

We have several tricks that we use to entice your picky eater. We also have a fridge and a microwave, so you are more than welcome to send whatever it is that you think your pup will want to eat. Please just let us know beforehand if your dog has any food allergies or sensitivities. Of course, if your dog continues to skip meals then we will contact you and discuss options.

Can you give my dog medication?

Of course! Our staff, does not give injectable medication. We just asked that the medication be supplied in a separate, clearly labeled container. Please do not premix any medication in your dog’s food. If you have any concerns, please talk to the front desk staff and they will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Can my dog get a bath when boarding?

Nothing is better than coming home to a happy, clean pup! We do offer bathing for our boarding guests. However, scheduling is first come first served so we recommend booking any spa services when you book your reservation to ensure that your dog may be accommodated.

How can I check on my dog while they’re boarding?

Please feel free to call or email to check on your pup! However, rest assured that “no news is good news” meaning, if we have not contacted you then your dog is doing spectacularly! We also have live webcams for you to watch your pups while they are playing in daycare with their friends. Please talk to a front desk staff member and they will be happy to give you instructions on how to access the cameras.

How do you handle medical emergencies when my dog is boarding?

First and foremost, before boarding, particularly before extended visits, we recommend that you contact your pup’s vet and let them know that you will be out of town and that your dog will be staying with us. This really helps if we must make any contact with your vet. In any medical situation, emergency or not, you will be contacted first. If it is a minor issue that the staff can care for then we will. If your dog needs medical attention, the best-case scenario would be for you or a trusted family member or friend to come get your pup. However, when boarding we understand that it is usually not an option. If that’s the case, we are prepared! We will call and discuss a way for a staff member to get your dog to your vet of choice (within reason.) This will include having you call your vet and schedule a drop off appointment. In a true medical emergency your dog will be taken to the closest emergency vet immediately.

Is someone on site with the dogs 24 hours a day?

We do not have someone on site overnight. However, take comfort in knowing that all of our guests are safely tucked into their suites at night. The doors are locked and the 24/7 monitored security alarm is set. The facility is monitored for both fire and carbon monoxide. Every part of the building is under constant video monitoring and recording.

Do you offer discounts to multiple dog families that board together?
We do offer discounts for families that stay together! Any additional guests boarding in the same suite will receive a 50% discount off of the nightly boarding rate.

Can my dogs be separated when they eat?

We are more than happy to separate your dogs when it comes time to eat. Staff will discuss all feeding instructions with you at check in and handle all requests.

Do I need a reservation and do you offer last minute boarding?

Other than holidays, you do not need a reservation for boarding. However, we highly recommend making one. We often have a full house for boarding and cannot always accommodate last minute boarding or requests for busy weekends.

What if I need to board my dog over a holiday?

If you would like to reserve boarding for your pup over a holiday, we recommend booking as soon as you know that you will need your dog to stay with us.. Holidays and prime vacation dates are very busy and book up fast (sometimes months in advance) which is why we require a non refundable deposit in order to make a reservation. Please speak with the front desk staff and they will be happy to go over the holiday deposit policy and check date availability with you.

You’re at work. They’re at recess.
